Agnes Bruckner is an American model, actress and actor. She was born on August 16, 1985. Her first appearance on television was in the 90s, and later in movies like The Woods. Bruckner started her acting career when she was 11 years old. The actress appeared in commercials on several television pilots, and in the soap opera daytime The Bold and the Beautiful in 1999. At the age of 15 Bruckner got her first lead role in the independent movie Blue Car (2002) in where she played a high school student who was involved in a relationship with her teacher played by David Strathairn. Roger Ebert said that Bruckner performed the role with aplomb. Bruckner's role was nominated at the Independent Spirit Awards for "Best Female Lead". She was raised by three siblings and a brother. Hungarian was the first language she learned and practiced regularly to ensure the fluency. Bruckner was an Hollywood California native born to a Hungarian as well as a Russian father who had divorced from their mother earlier in life, was raised by an German paternal grandmother. The couple were introduced in Hungary. They emigrated to America. U.S. through an Italian refugee camp. She has a sibling and brother.
