Aisha Hinds is an American actor best famous for her role in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated on TV in shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7 and Under the Dome since she began her career as an actor in 2003. The first time she was noticed was for her performance as Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. It was however her portrayal of the feminist Fannie Louis Hamer from the biopic All the Way, which earned her the respect she earned as an actress. Hind's performance as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's period drama Underground was also highly appreciated. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series for the third season. Hind has completed filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is scheduled to be released in mid-2019. She was born in Mangalore, India. Her father Krishnaraj worked as a Army scientist before his death on the 18th of March, 2017. The mother Vrinda lives at home. Aditya Rao, who works in the field of merchant navy engineering is her sibling older. Her younger brother, Aditya Rai, co-produced Dil Ka Rishta and wrote it along with Bachchan.
